What happens during a music therapy session?
Usually the first couple of sessions the therapist takes the time to get to know the client. The reason of this is so the therapist can create a specific playlist for them. The playlist depends on what kind of music the client likes and the reason why they need therapy.
Then once the therapist knows the client fairly well they start to create the playlist. The therapist works with the client to create a unique playlist that the client is content with because if the client is not happy with the playlist than the music therapy sessions will be pointless.
